  • 2011 – From  assistant professor at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
  • 24 May 2005 -The Master’s degree, obtained on . The thesis: “The status of the juvenile in the Polish Penal Code and Executive Penal Code”, written under the supervision of Professor dr hab. Stanisław Pawela.
  • 9 November 2010 – The degree of Doctor of Legal Sciences in law, granted by the resolution of the Council of the Department of Law of the Warsaw University on. The doctoral thesis: Child protection against sexual abuse in criminal law, written under the supervision of Professor dr hab. Eleonora Zielińska. Reviewers: Professor dr hab. Maria Rogacka – Rzewnicka and Professor dr hab. Violetta Konarska – Wrzosek.

Proffesional experience:

  • From 1 December 2005 till 30 April 2007: judge’s assistant in the Provincial Court for Warsaw – Wola in Warsaw.
  • From 1 May 2007 till 30 April 2009: judge’s assistant in the Appeal Court in Warsaw.
  • From 1 August 2006 till 30 October 2012: social probation officer for juveniles in the Provincial Court for Warsaw – Mokotów in Warsaw.
  • From 1 May 200931 January 2019: judge’s assistant in the Supreme Court.
  • From 1 February 2019: member of The Supreme Court Research and Analyses Office.

Research interests

Juvenile criminal law, substantive criminal law, crimes against sexual liberty and decency, crimes against the family and guardianship

Additional infromation

  • 2016 – Research project „Trends in the development of juvenile criminal responsibility in the international and Polish law system” realized and financed from the tar-geted subsidy for young scientists.
  • October 2016 – Research stay at the Max Planck Institute in Freiburg.
  • 2017 – Research project Study EuPenTrain – “Preparing the environment for the EPPO: Fostering mutual trust by improving existing common legal heritage and enhanc-ing common legal understanding. Proposal for a preliminary study and guidelines fora model ‘framework curriculum’ for legal training of practitioners in the PIF sector”.
