Since 1979 – scientific researcher at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
1976-1979 – judicial application at dictrict Court in Warsaw.
1988 – PhD degree at the Institute of Law Studies, dissertation title: „Punishment for petty offences”.
2004 – habilitation at the Institute of Law Studies, monography title: „Fine in the law of petty offences. Legal model and practice”.
Teaching experience
1994-1999 – Facultuy of Jurnalizm and Political Sciences, Warsaw University.
2000-2010 – professor at European Higher School of Law and Administration.
2010-2017 – professor at Higher School of Management and Law and later Higher School of Law (Chodkowska Colleges).
Since 2004 – Legal cources for PhD candidates AT the Institute of Law Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences.
Research interests
Criminal law, petty offences law, repressive law, criminal policy.
Other information
Head of the research project „Alternatives to Imprisonment in the Polish Criminal Justice System”. Project financed by National by Ministry of Science and Higher Education (2007-2010)
Participant in the research project „The Reform of Petty Offences”. Head of the project – dr hab. Paweł Daniluk, prof. INP PAN. Project financed by National Science Centre (2017-2020).
