The conference summarizes the research project “Combatting Illegal Tobacco Trade in the Era of Fast Change” implemented within PMI Impact – a global initiative supporting projects to combat illicit trade and related crimes.
The aim of the project was to identify trends, mechanisms and required changes in the control of illicit trade in tobacco products in the European Union (EU), taking into account a number of recent political, legal and technological changes taking place in the modern world (e.g. the Brexit referendum in the UK or the decision not to extend EU industry agreements).
The conference will be held in Polish and English with simultaneous interpretation.
