International IP Conference – 17 October 2019 – “Trade secrets in Theory and Practice”
Institute of Law Studies and Society of Intellectual Property and Competition Law are honoured to announce their International IP Conference “Trade secrets in Theory and Practice”.
The conference is primarily dedicated to harmonization of trade secrets protection in the European Union resulting from adoption of the Directive 2016/943 on the protection of undisclosed know-how and business information (trade secrets) against their unlawful acquisition, use and disclosure.
Our considerations will concern, among others, the protection of know-how in employee relations and in court and mediation proceeding, liability for trade secrets infringement and remedies. Details of the conference programme can be found here
We invite scholars and practitioners, students, PhD students and representatives of private sector and policy makers to participate in the conference. The registration will be open until 10 October 2019.
